I suffer from agoraphobia and panic disorder, and after not going to the dentist for 20 years, I finally worked up the courage to go. I was under oral sedation (worked wonders, don't remember a thing) and my procedure was 2 hours long and I had 3 molars extracted and 2 immediate implants placed, (not pictured, but im not too worried about those as they did a wonderful job.)
But I did get 7 cavities filled. And I'm a little bit concerned with how they came out. My bottom molar which is circled looks like it still has grey underneath it. Also, I can't get floss to pass between that molar and the tooth next to it. Should I be concerned? I know that picture isn't the best picture, but the filling on it also looks like the filling on the picture the arrow is pointing to, which the aesthetic of it doesn't please me at all.
I'm not sure if l'm just picky, but i feel as if the fillings don't look as good as I thought they would. The molar with the arrow pointed to it especially irks me. Is this normal for fillings to look like that? And as for the molar next to that one, why is there 2 small blackish dots? I feel as if getting 2 implants and 7 cavities filled within a 2 hour appointment is a lot of work, and lm wondering if maybe they rushed through the cavities part? Mind you, I went to the absolute best dentist in my area and paid a lot of money. Thanks in advance for any advice/help.
