Decided to bite the bullet and go to the dentist for the first time in 8 years, mainly not going to because of my horrible gag reflex. According to my dentist my teeth were "hard as a rock" and in great shape. No bone loss, recession, not even a sign of decay! I apparently did not even have the bacteria that causes cavities. The dentist and hygienist were so good with my gag reflex and they even had a therapy dog! I scheduled my cleaning (nitrous assisted) and have never been more relieved.
