Dentist for very nervous patients

I am looking for a dentist who will be supportive & non judgemental when dealing with a very nervous patient & long term dentist avoidant. I currently live in Scottish Borders but am unable to travel outwith area at the moment. Any suggestions? Feeling very stressed by it.
