Dissolvable stitches after full mouth extraction

Hi everyone !! So I finally did it , I got my full mouth extraction last Thursday . It was not as bad as I had feared . Now my issue is ...the stitches !! The surgeon used dissolvable stitches in my entire mouth , top and bottom . Now they are starting to poke out and feel like wires and the ones all the way in the back feel "gummy and very stretchy " so I think they are starting to dissolve . My issue is I cant stand that feeling way in the back , I feel like Im swallowing them and they are stuck in my throat . I laid down last night had had to throw up . Anyone have experience with dissolvable stitches ?? When the hell will they go away ?? Thanks everyone

Can I just take sutures out?

I know dissolvable stitches come out on their own for the most part. Some started falling out yesterday a week and one day after full bottom extractions and aveoloplasty. The relief in the areas that have lost sutures is amazing. I realized my pain is mostly gum pain and a few pressure sores...

Dissolvable stitches that didn't dissolve

Hi, It's been a little over a month since my 9 extractions. My stitches, which my dentist said would dissolve, haven't. They are coming apart and threads are hanging and really bugging the heck out of me. I have a dentist appointment on Friday so he can check it out. I am getting a bit scared...

Maybe you could ask the surgeon to remove them if they're annoying you?

Yes I go in on Wednesday and I'm gonna ask him to take them out
