Do dentures cause facial collapse?

It’s possible that I may have to get dentures in the future due to chronic acid reflux/GERD issues. Do dentures really cause facial collapse/your facial structure to change?

To a certain degree they do. The dentures’ height determines how long the lower third of the face is , the lips are influenced by it.
