I have to go to the hospital to have it done and they said I would need anesthesia but they didn't know yet if it would be general or not.

So will I have to wear a hospital gown and if I do what can I wear underneath? Do I keep my shoes on?

(I need to know if I have to go buy new underwear.)

I had my wisdom teeth out with general anesthesia at the oral surgeon's office. I wore my regular clothes.

I had general anesthesia in a private clinic. I had to wear a gown and take off my shoes. But there was a changing room, so I could change privately and I was also given slippers.

i just got my teethr emoved yesterday i went under iv sedation they did not require stripping of clothes, but since your going to a hospital, they might in which case they tend to let you were your undies under the gown. :)
