Doctor scared me

I called an immediate virtual care to get an antibiotic and the doctor decided to scare the he** out of me. He told me a story about a patient he had who the infection spread to such a point that she was in a coma for days. He said he wanted to hang up and call the nearest ER. I called my dentist and they can get me in today and said I am ok. Not really looking for advice just needed to talk about it.

If you dont have an infection, its not going to go anywhere.

And if you do have an infection, then the antibiotics will keep it at bay.
