So I need my first pre-molar on the top left extracted as there is a chronic infection which causes a small bump there every now and again and implants are just too expensive at the moment so he suggested an adhesive bridge/maryland bridge.

I was wondering if anyone has them on their pre-molars and what they think?

Have they fallen out a lot?

Also when it was extracted, did the put the bridge on instantly? I don't want to be walking around with a gap there.

Thanks,
Stef

not instant as you gum will shrink as it heals for a couple of months.
A well designed Maryland bridge works well for many years but the conditions must be right and they must be placed well.
