Does teeth whitening hide cracks?

Hi all,

I was wondering if purchasing a standard teeth whitening product over the counter would hide the tiny black cracks that can occur in your teeth?

I think cracks is not the correct term.. very tiny chips I think sounds more accurate.

Would I be right in assuming this would be the same if I got my teeth (laser) whitened by a dentist?

Yes, dentist whitening is a bit more effective than the OTC stuff, but it might not take care of the problem. Best thing is to actually ask a dentist to take a look for you.
