I posted this is support but think it would be better here:
I broke a molar and went to the dentist todayZ
He gave me two options- it is the upper last molar (not wisdom one before). He said we could try the root canal and crown, but he’s not super optimistic it would last long term.
The second option was extraction which is what he said he’s recommend. He said with the molar position, I would not need an implant and if you are going to lose a tooth this is the one to lose.
He told me to think it over and he’s willing to do either option but his opinion is the extraction is going to give me less issues down the road. The issue is I’m terrified of extractions!! Help!
