Hello a while ago I posted on this forum about needing a root canal while being pregnant what gave me tons of anxiety. Months later 36 weeks pregnant last Thursday(so 3 days ago) I finally had my root canal done. I started to have headaches on the side of the tooth and also the cheekbone(upper pre molar number 13 i believe) what scared me and the cold sensitivity was also horrible and getting worse even with breathing sometimes. After the shots the dentist gave me started to fade away for the root canal I started to be a bit sore.. but nothing crazy the next day that was gone... the only thing that is left is pain when I put pressure on the tooth. Mostly when I eat.. even soft food.. when I gently push my tooth with my finger I feel it too. My question is: is this normal? Can this be part of the healing process? For the rest I feel good. No headaches anymore.. no sensitivity anymore.. that's all gone. Only pain with pressure. Similar to when I had my braces for the first time that is what it reminds me of. I also don't take painkillers because for the rest it's fine like I said only with pressure. I can call the dentist anytime he said (endodontist) but it's weekend now and it's not a emergency so I don't wanna bother him. I probably call him tomorrow but it does make me a little nervous so I thought I ask here if someone can tell me if this is normal? I wanna take care of it soon since I'm also super pregnant and rather take care of it before I go I labor haha. (Also good to say I still have a temporary filling I need to call the dentist soon for that too but I wanna make sure first it's all good before I get a crown on here)
