I have a journal that has my before, but I'll post it here as well. The second is where we're at now. Both of those front teeth will be getting crowns. The gaps will be filled by a bridge and a partial. We're getting there! Thanks so much for being so supportive!
Thats amazing!!!! The transformation already is amazing. You really should be so proud that you've overcome so much and your totally smashing it. I really can't wait to see the finished results. I am genuinely so happy for you

Wow, that's a fantastic result already, well done.

Today is my last extraction/filling appointment. 3 extractions, 4 fillings and a quick fix to a recently broken molar. Everything after this will be cosmetic (crowns, a bridge and 2 partials). I am surprisingly ok today and slept well last night. The difference that having a dentists who specializes in fear is ASTOUNDING. They make me feel proud of my progress, and they cheer me on and always listen. I'm going in with NONE of my comfort objects today, but I'll still be using their weighted blankets and be going under nitrous. I'll try to remember to update after! :)

Doing well! They did more work than I thought they would, did 2 temp crowns as well as the fillings and extractions. Resting now <3

It's been a long time since I updated this thread. I am finally done all of my work with my dentist, just need one more root canal on Nov 1 with an Endodontist, but I have a full mouth of teeth again for the first time in over 20 years! Thank you all so much for all of your support <3 And now... the before and after! 28k worth of work, thank heavens for hubby and I both having insurance!

AMAZING!!! Your teeth are beautiful and you must be so proud of yourself!!!

I really am. It took a lot. The first few appointments I cried almost the whole time, but I got through them, and they were SO patient. My dental office is simply amazing. The assistant who has been there the whole time I've been in treatment, and the one girl at the front desk as well who has been there the whole year both hugged me at my last appointment, as I won't need to see them now except for cleanings, or if my partials need adjusted! :)

So, so amazing! No doubt you’ll be inspiring many fearful people! Your teeth look great, well worth that chunk of money. be so proud of yourself!!
