First Appt in 12 years today

Hi all,

I haven’t been to the dentist in 12 years. I have 2 molars broken as well as 2 wisdom teeth broken. I’ve been embarrassed, and I have anxiety so bad I’m shaking.

Last night I almost went to the ER my mouth hurt so bad I was in tears for hours and I’ve always been able to take care of it with salt water/peroxide rinses, ibuprofen/Tylenol, and clove oil in the worst cases. Last night nothing eased the pain it was as bad as childbirth.

I was bulimic in my 20s, age 45 now, but have no enamel on teeth. I’m afraid to floss because I’m afraid of breaking a tooth. I’m just scared to death right now.

Over the phone they said they’d prescribe antibiotics and “see what is going on”. Well they’ll see my mouth is so bad and I’m terrified of what they’ll say I’m afraid I’ll start crying.

I need support I’m so scared

I forgot to say no pain today, but have fever so know I have no choice.
