Flipper tooth

How long does it usually take to have a flipper tooth (retainer I guess you would call it?) made?

My fear is that it will take 2-3 weeks like a crown does and being a receptionist I can’t be missing a front tooth for a long period of time

If it's a real emergency, 2-3 hrs could do it... wouldn't be perfect but it would get by...

Normally it'll be a planned extraction/denture insertion though so less of a rush job!
