Found a piece of composite after filling

Hey y'all.

I had my first composite filling done today, and I was wondering if anyone else has found composite material in their mouth afterwards. It was a filling between teeth, and I don't see anything abnormal (heck, I can't even see where the filling was done) so I assume everything is where it should be.

I also had a amalgam filling done today in a back molar and found a little debris. Could the white piece I found be composite residue?

The piece I had found is bigger than the little metal crumbs, kinda like a thin layer that flaked off.

Hi,

Could be very much so. It should not be concerned from it though.
