getting upper dentures should i have lower teeth bleached

Hi
I'll be getting upper dentures in a couple of months. (Going thru a dental school)
I would love to have whiter teeth than I do now.
Should I find some place to whiten my lower teeth before I get the upper dentures?
Or not worry about it, since they really don't show that much.
Plus what would be a natural color that doesn't yell dentures?
Any comments would be appreicated.

Well since you can't change the colour of your denture when it's made, it would make sense to get the bleaching done first.
As for your second question, it's more important the way the teeth are set up on the denture than the shade of them.
Having said that, if they're a reasonable colour match for your lower teeth it looks better, I've seen some close up photos of movie/pop stars with mega-white uppers and horribly stained and grungy lowers and it looks awful IMO.
