hi. im taylor. i have a long history of dental work... which stinks.
anyway, ill give a brief idea.

when i was 10, i had went to my dentist and she told me i had 3 cavities in the back that needed to be filled. i was scared and didnt want to get them done so never did... 5 years later when i went to an orthodontist to get braces, they told me i needed to go to the dentist to check for any work that needed to be done. turns out those 3 cavities were now root canals.
getting those 3 root canals done was the worst experience ever at the dentist. 1 of them had a curved root and i had to go to a root canal specialist for that. the dentist was mean and inconsiderate. my mom was not allowed to go in the room with me and i was crying and shaking uncontrollably, and at one point they had to stop working on me. when i got the other 2 done by my dentist they weren't so bad but when they put the crowns on was the worst. they were tugging on and off to find the right ones and it was HELL. oh, and they were ever so conveniently out of the laughing gas.

so now i have had my braces since august 09. when i got my braces they took one of my temp crowns off because it as a piece of junk. BUT today i was checking out my teeth, and the tooth that they took the crown off is BLUE!!?!? not visibly from the outside, but on the bottom of the tooth. i am SO scared. i also just got one of my wisdom teeth. and i am positive i have a cavity in the front of my teeth. so my next dentist visit will not be pleasant at all. i dont know what to do. i am going to be flipping out and i will be feeling like im going to throw up. i will be crying and i will be shaking. i had laughing gas one time and it made me go to sleep, which was great because i have so much anxiety over the dental work. but ever since then my dentist has been "out" of it. i dont know what to do next time i go.. can they give me an RX for anxiety/panic attacks? and do you know anything about this literal "blue" tooth? i am so scared. im 16.
thanks for reading all of this :(

Sorry you've had a rough time. :XXLhug: I haven't a clue about the blue tooth so can't help you with that.
I've never heard of a dentist being "out of laughing gas". :( If I were you I would talk to your Mom and ask her to talk to them prior to your next appointment and make it clear they need to HAVE their gas IN STOCK..or they can reschedule you to when they do. There's no excuse for that!
