I had my crown put on ~2 weeks ago. Bad me, bad me, tonight was the first time I've flossed. My teeth fit REALLY tightly together, and I hate doing it - it's pretty uncomfortable.

But, when I did it, I got a few hard bits out. The crown doesn't feel any different, and there's no pain. They were tiny fragments of a very white (so NOT my teeth, lol), very hard, yet very brittle substance. I'm guessing these were residual pieces of cement stuck down there, but wanted to get a bit of reassurance.
