Hi, I am trying to pay my way through college working in a bar... and a couple of days ago the inevidable happened. Some guy punched me hard in the mouth. 2 fat lips, many cuts inside lips, a thin line of blood around the gum line on the top 4 teeth, and the top and bottom teeth in the front are just barley loose. Maybe a Millimeter of play. No tooth discoloration, yet *knock on wood*. I have been trying to push them forward since it happened. I cannot use them to eat yet, because they are still sensitive to rearward movement.

I do not have a dentist in this town, nor do I have anytime to get into one as a new patient.

Any advice or info? Thanks for your time.

Aside from go to the dentist? The teeth will most likely tighten up, but at the very least you want to at least get an xray of the teeth to make sure nothing serious is going on (the teeth aren't discolored yet, but they may become discolored in the future). Also, your dentist can splint the teeth together to ensure proper healing. I hope that helps!

This statement sounds to me like you have anxiety around a dental appointment - avoidance behaviour is common around here ;). You are in the right place if so.
Why not find a decent dentist where you are based and then keep up the relationship?

Again Brit is right you will need one and you might as well find one that you like before a crisis
