As per the title. I can't really get a photo because it's riiigghtt at the back of my gums, I can only feel it with my tongue or a finger jammed back there. However there is definitely some kind of swelling at the very back of my mouth and whenever I brush I bleed unless I'm very careful.

Any ideas what this could be? Not with a dentist after my local domiciliary dentists stopped doing the service. I also had a fever and mystery sickness last week, unsure if related.

If the wisdom tooth is only partially erupted and there's a small flap of gum covering it then it's fairly common for this to get a bit inflamed, usually a piece of food has worked its way under the flap and set up some irritation. Try giving it a very vigorous irrigation with salt water, "bubble" the rinse between the tooth and cheek as hard as you can manage. Don't worry about bleeding on brushing, usually this means you need to brush a bit more carefully, don't avoid the area.
