Gum around Wisdom Tooth is tender & painful

Gum around top left Wisdom Tooth is hurting. It's really tender & hurts. :(
What can stop it hurting ? I'm going away Monday am, & don't want it hurting all week :(
 
Swish around with warm salt water, about a teaspoon of salt to a glass of warm water. Ibuprofen if you can take them.
