Hi there. My teeth are bad, but there is 1 in particular. Tonight yet another rotted piece ' broke ' off, I'm not in pain (yet) thankfully, but it now looks like there was never a tooth in that spot. How difficult would it be to remove the root? Also, when removing teeth that have rotted to the gum line, how are they typically removed? Does the patients gums get cut?

I'm in a similar situation with one of my teeth.

My dentist said it's generally pretty easy to remove a tooth like that.

I'm not really sure how they remove it.
