Hi, please could someone help.
I’m really worried about my bottom teeth, I am due a cleaning but I feel like they are receding.
I am really anxious about my teeth and look at them every day multiple times a day. I am so worried my teeth are going to fall out now that they seem to be receding 😭 I’m only 27.

It's quite common for the gum margin to move down a little bit as we age, it's more common around lower incisors where the bone is very thin and cleaning is a bit more tricky due to tight lip muscles and the little ligament that connects between the lip and the middle of the jaw.
It's not a problem and you don't need to fret about it.

You do have a tiny bit of gingivitis around your incisors, this is fairly common because it's hard to get rid of all the plaque there due to the anatomy. You can avoid this by using 2 hands to clean here, use your free hand to pull your lip well down out of the way so you can see what you're doing and get the brush into the area. You could also use a single tuft brush to clean better round the incisors if you like.

@Gordon Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and the advice! I will definitely try that. I feel so silly for worrying but I just can’t seem to stop myself from worrying about it. Your reply has definitely eased me, thank you 😊
