Gum slightly hanging off?

I've been having a weird thing going on with my gums, and I'm not exactly sure if it's a real problem or not.

The bottom flap of my gum that's right in between the bottom front teeth is slightly hanging off. It doesn't hurt and isn't swollen, and isn't present anywhere else.

Does anyone have an idea as to what this might be?

It can often be a reaction to plaque or food being trapped which caused the gum to swell and flop about. Try some gentle flossing or interdental cleaning - don’t be alarmed if it bleeds.

Would be worth getting a wee appointment for a check up as you may need a proper cleaning
