Hi, first time poster and joined due to multiple dental issues these last few months that left me quite anxious
I had a filling on monday in between teeth 29 and 30. Felt fine but a couple hours later i felt a hard small thing in my mouth and spit out what looked like a piece of filling or enamel. It fell off my finger and down the sink before i could take a picture. Ive been having multiple other teeth issues/visits to the dentist and don’t feel comfortable going back and asking the dentist about this again.
Can the dentists here tell me if the filling still looks fine? It was a small cavity in between teeth 29 and 30. Pics attached. I dont care about looks, just want to make sure there is no exposed dentin/anything that would need addressing by a dentist. I am also not sure if it was a piece of filling from this recent one or maybe could have been a piece of enamel from the molar (tooth 30 next to it) or an “extra” piece that wasnt sucked away. I hope im just overthinking it and everything is fine. I am not in pain and it doesnt hurt when eating or touching those teeth.
I am also going back in a month to replace an older crown on another tooth, so mainly wanted reassurance that there isnt anything wrong and if there might be, it can wait a month.

Thanks all for taking the time to read this.

Even if there's something wrong, if there is no sensitivity or anything it can easily wait a month. Chances are (I can't really tell from the photos) that it's a bit of excess filling material, they can be hard to spot as they're tooth coloured.

Keep the space clean and maybe floss space. Will not cause any problems
