Had my wisdom teeth out last Thursday

I had my wisdom teeth out last Thursday and there was no pain. On Friday, I had no pain as well until I woke up in the morning and had a ridiculous amount of pain. It goes away after I take prescription pain meds, but it keeps happening. I'm thinking I have dry socket. I'm worried because I don't think my oral surgeon is open Monday, but my kids are home and when I take my pain meds I sleep. Is there any way to deal with the pain without pain meds?
