I have been treated today for dry socket after having back right top wisdom tooth removed on Tuesday 11th How long do I have to wait for before I can rinse mouth with salt water is it 24 Hours? Also I'm a smoker who has barley smoked over the 3 days and have got dry socket anyway would it matter if I smoked a roll up as I have no appetite as it is with the pain

Whenever you want is the answer to both questions. I can't see any point in the salt water rinse though. The odd cigarette won't make things much worse, within reason :)
