High Bite Question

I had a post and core done last week which was a week after my root canal. While at my endodontist yesterday to finish up another root canal, I told him I was still having some discomfort after chewing on the core. He checked and said it had a high bite and adjusted it. How long should it take to settle down? It's still a bit painful today.

Might take a couple more days, it depends on a few different factors, how high it was, how much of a clencher/grinder you might be and how fast your body recovers.
