Hi there, I recently had the first part of root canal treatment (canals filed and cleaned and temporary fillings placed) on 2 teeth but am unable to get them finished yet due to working away. I just wondered if there is a time frame in which you need to have it completed and if mine being left a while before completion will have any impact on the final outcome?

Depends a lot on what's been done so far, you'd get a more accurate answer from your dentist.

Hi Gordon, thank you for your reply. I have been to see my dentist today, a bit of one of the temporary fillings had chipped off so after he'd fixed that we had chance to have a chat about what's best. The fact that im travelling a lot this year with work, hols and visiting family has made getting my treatment finished a bit awkward, but if delaying it was going to have an impact on the outcome of the treatment I would have tried to juggle things around a bit! As it is my dentist is happy that we can wait until sept/oct time when I'll be home for a while so we can complete it then. :)
