How long do infections last in your tooth ?
Day 4 of antibiotics jaw pain isn’t great and my gum .

Am seeing the dentist in wednesday .

Can they prescribe more antibiotics?

It'd be a lot better if they dealt with the source of the infection, either extraction or start RCT. Antibiotics don't really treat the infection in a tooth.

@Gordon thanks . Yes they said the infection needs clearing first and they have already put on my treatment plan complex extraction? I read about that and it’s frightened me as I’ve never had a tooth taken out .

Although everyone has said you just feel pressure and pulling but no pain at all .

From the patient's POV a complex extraction should be pretty much identical to any other extraction, might take slightly longer but that's about it.
