Hello:

I have read your posts and have a few ideas.

If your agoraphobia is severe there are some things that can be done. I would hope you have a healthcare professional that is dealing with this issue as it is treatable. They, your family doctor or even you can order an ambulance to come to your home and administer either an IV sedative or oral sedative. All hospitals have an Oral Surgeon on call for emergencies. You can be transported to the hospital for treatment and they cannot refuse to treat you. Hospitals are equipped to deal with almost anything and there are many options.

This would be the same thing that would be done if you suffered a fall, heart attack or even a severe panic attack.

This issue can be dealt with a creative approach. This is especially true if the condition is severe. The emergency medical system is designed to handle problems that require immediate attention.

Once this solved you can begin to work on the agoraphobia. It will take some effort on your part and you will need to face the fear but it is fixable. It is not hopeless. Avoiding it gives it more power.

We can always solve challenges if we are committed to finding a solution. When the conventional does not work it is time to try the unconventional.

All the best to you as you move toward a solution. :D

i called our local hospital and they told me they did not have a dentist on call and the best they can do is give me an antibodic an pain meds an send me home. i begged them to help me but they said thats the best they can do.
i live in painesville, ohio an we dont seem to have any help here.
please im so scared i dont know what to do.

I did some checking for you. I found that Lake Health Center, formerly Lake Hospital System at 10 East Washington Street in Painesville Ohio.

They offer oral surgery. They are required to have a Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeon on call to deal with jaw and dental trauma from auto accidents, gunshots and other emergencies. They can bring them in from surrounding areas or transport you to a facility that can meet your needs. But it appears Lake Health Center offers in house Oral surgery. They also appear to be a large facility. They might have misunderstood your request as a regular dentist does not practice at a hospital but a Maxillofacial suregon does.

If you call for an ambulance and request to go to the hospital they cannot turn you away and since they offer oral surgery they can take care of your problem. You might need to be a bit insistent but this can be done.

please can you call and ask them? i just called back and the women was so nasty to me. she said "i told you we dont do teeth here". then she hung up.
i called the er 440-354-1685
its going to be hard enough to go there, but if there going to be nasty to me i wont be able to handle it. if you cant i understand i just thought they might be nicer to a doctor.

I would suggest that you get the antibiotics as quickly as you can and get started taking them. I don't know the particulars of your area but as you have been referred to the hospital I suggest you physically go there and seek emergency treatment. In our area if a patient arrives at the emergency room there are those of us who are on call to handle such problems and I am certain that your local hospital can accommodate you if you are there personally. If you go to the emergency area I doubt you'll get the same person to whom you spoke earlier.

hey
im so sorry yr in pain i just read yr post i agree you should get some antibiotics as soon as possible my sisters boyfriend had horrific toothache he couldnt lie down or anything but he said the antibiotics worked like magic and he felt tons better within 2 days sooner you get them the sooner they can work i really hope you find help soon.
