I had a crown put on last Wednesday and I'm now in agony. It is really painful when my crown touches the tooth above it. Would the crown being too high cause such severe pain. Today was the first day I tried to eat on it and that really kicked it off. Or is it more likely to be infected?

Might be, you really need to get back onto your dentist ASAP, this isn't normal.
