I have a massive phobia of the dentist

Hi all. From bring little I've always had so much anxiety from visiting the dentist. I went up till the age of 17. I st in the chair an my legs was trembling. Any way I never went again after that. My teeth are so bad to the point comes broken some have chips in. My front tooth as cracked tonight straight down I don't know what to do. I'm petrified an the thought of me having to go to the dentist is scaring me so much

I only just spotted your post. How have you been getting on since Monday? Are you in pain?

Just an idea - maybe you could see if you can be treated by the Community Dental Services (this is for patients who cannot cope with standard NHS dental practices, for example those with dental phobia). The dentists there are trained to support patients with special needs and can also usually offer things like sedation, which can be a real game changer.
