I feel a little sheepish posting, as I find dentistry fascinating and am planning to be one myself. I didn't think I'd ever be this scared.
So here's the story: I've been having on-off discomfort--I'm not entirely sure if it's pain or not--in my lower first molars on both sides. Last time this happened I was mentally preparing for double root canals, but it turned out to just be my wisdom teeth pushing on my other teeth and causing pain. But my wisdom teeth have since been removed and I don't know what it could be this time, I'm really worried about need root canals. They just sound so awful, I couldn't sit through something like that for so long.
I live at home so I'm not in charge of my own appointments, and I just don't know what to do.
