Hi

I had my first stage of rct yesterday. The procedure was painless but now I'm in a lot of pain. I'm taking painkillers but its just taking the edge off.

I had the rct on my upper right 6 and it feels like my wisdom tooth is hurting. I'm scared to go back to the dentist as I felt really anxious like I was going to die whilst having the procedure.

Any help will be appreciated
Thanks

How is it now? If there's no improvement then you need to go back to the dentist but quite often the first stage of RCT stirs things up a bit and can cause a bit of after pain for 24 hrs or so.

The tooth that I had started the rct wasn't causing the pain. I have a white bump one tooth away that is possibly causing it. I just inspected it. I also used an ice pack and took 3 painkillers. I'm scared I might have an abcess.
