Horrific experience with oral surgeon. I had a broken molar removed last Thursday. I asked for oral sedation which Ive had in the past there. They also did not use numbing gel before injections, did not use gas( again things they did before) and started working on me about 25-30 minutes into oral sedation. I didnt feel sedated at all. Felt pain to the point I grabbed his arm. Now I feel extreme pain in the tooth beside the one he pulled. General dentist informs me that its a bad tooth and that he basically triggered it and now it needs to be pulled. Im extremely petrified after this horrific experience. Oh I was also charged for gas I didnt receive. I also feel I should be refunded for the oral sedation. Any suggestions, comments or advice is appreciated!

Hi @cledwards63 that sounds like a horrific experience. The best thing to do might be to write a letter to the dental office in question outlining your experience and asking for a refund for the services you did not receive.

As you had such a poor experience, I doubt you'd want to return to the same surgeon. Did you have a different oral surgeon in the same office in the past?
