Impacted Canine - Advice!

Hi Everyone!

I had my impacted canine removed under local anaesthetic 7 days ago. Healing thus far has been decent...

Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience of the following:

- Tender / Painful surrounding teeth if knocked, even after seven days
- Swelling at the site of treatment
- Feeling of pressure in the areas of swelling

Not taking any painkillers as the pain isn't strong enough. As I have a history of anxiety disorder that's what is getting to me. Is everything normal? Or as normal as possible?

Im going for a checkup with my surgeon tomorrow and if theres no improvement a second opinion on Friday.

Hi everything sounds normal to me. I am not a dentist and this is only my opinion. As you are seeing a dentist tomorrow you will be fine. See what they say and follow their advice.

All the symptoms you describe are normal and will go soon. Everyone takes different amounts of time to heal so I cannot give you a time when it will be feeling better. I think you are doing okay.
