Implant question

So, I am not to this point yet in my journey, but I'm wondering what is the difference as far as when would they choose
screw retained implant crowns vs cemented implant crowns and do they both last as long / are same security.

One of my longtime fears is crowns coming off. so the more secure the better, is there a way you suggest more or it depends on the tooth or where the tooth is?

Great question! I am curious as well. I know my dentist said I was getting screw retainer implants for the molars, but I never asked about my front tooth so I have no idea what I am getting for that. I do know that he said he prefers screw retained.

I'm glad you are curious too ..in my own head I am picture screw retained to be more secure myself.. but then again my past dentist did cement on my first one. which is number 5 tooth upper right
