inferior alveolar nerve block

Hello

I had a tooth out recently and have done a lot to beat my dental phobia now my last stage of my phobia is having lower jaw first molar extracted on my right side it has a long lasting abscess and swelling and has to be extracted and will be Tuesday

My only fear about this extraction is the inferior alveolar nerve block as in scared it will numb my tongue and throat

will it numb my tongue and it so how numb will it be and what parts, tip, back? All? And does it feel strange when you swollow or not much different?
