About a month ago I cracked off half of my back tooth, no pain no problems just a little tender when I ate on that side, other than that no other problems.
Suddenly, there has been a very minor ache that can be ignored, it's not persistent just when I've brushed my teeth, and a small squishy bump behind the broken tooth. The bump has been the same size and is only tender when pressed on, but other than that does not bother me.
I have no swelling in my face, no persistent pain and have never had an unbearable pain either, but it does sometimes ache slightly.
My question is do I need to face my fear and book for a dentist, or will this just subside? And if I leave it will I get sepsis?
When looking at it in a small mirror it's not white or looks infected, it's the same colour as the rest of my mouth but does smell a bit when pressed on.
Any advice welcome!
