Good afternoon everyone.

Is it possible to heal gums that are a bit sore without having a surgery of reconstruction of some broken teeth?

I'm asking about it because - to be honest - my broken teeth don't bother me at all. They're far back in my mouth, they can't even be seen much. What's more, I think their reconstruction would cost me too much effort.

The only thing I'd like to have done when I'll finally pluck up my courage to go to the dentist's is to have my back bottom gums healed somehow.

But is it possible at all? Yeah, I know, it's a bit like a question to a fortune-teller... :) You can't predict everything in medicine, right?

Anyway, thank you in advance for any replies.

You can still improve the health or you gums even if you have broken teeth, as long as the teeth are not broken in such a way as to prevent you cleaning properly around them

Thank you for you reply @drhirst.
Would an antibiotic be useful to heal these a bit painful spots on my gums?
