I am having 5 fillings and a crown completed next week. I am having IV Sedation due to my severe phobia and fear of the dentist.
My concern due to my fear is that I am going to feel the procedure while it’s happening and I can’t do anything about it.
Will I feel them do anything during the fillings on crown? Will I feel them inject me with novacane?

Yes of course you can do something about it, you remain fully able to communicate and withdraw your co-operation during the treatment.

You'll still feel things but you won't care much about it.

I can only share my experience of twice having IV and feeling nothing. Except the second time (5 fillings, 2 crowns and a complex extraction) as I woke up I complained of a sore jaw from holding it open for 2 hours. You can respond or say if something hurts, you just probably won't remember. I had this fear too but now I love IV. Reading the IV sedation experiences on this site may help you. Good luck.
