I got temporary dentures 10 days ago and had 2 implants put in the lower for snap in dentures. The healing is good, the stitches came out a few days ago but this evening I noticed two bright white spots on my lower gums that wasn't there this morning. It's not painful but getting this done was traumatic and I can't imagine having to do this again. I'm attaching a picture. I'm calling the dentist on Monday but I am going to be freaking out until then so any idea if this is a problem or normal would really help my anxiety. Thank you so much.

Looks OK from that photo.

@Gordon thank you for answering. It's in the same spot where the implants are located so I was worried about it. Are they bone spurs? Thank you again for your time, it's appreciated.

I think they are a bit of mucosal sloughing, nothing to worry about.

@Gordon the dentist said they are membrane that they put during the extraction and they are going to be removed on Thursday. Does that hurt to remove them, I'm kind of freaking out a little (a lot).

Shows how little I know about implants :-)
No, it should be pretty painless.
