Kissing, in my experience, isn't different at all. 
Eating is only a little different. It can take longer to chew some things, and you lose some of the strength of your bite. I don't eat nuts any more for example. But most things I can eat just fine. I eat out at restaurants with friends regularly, and it's always fine and enjoyable.
