Little sore for a few months

I’ve had this little bump for a few months now and I’m seeing the dentist Monday. I thought it was a canker sore but it’s not going away. It’s hard and the center looks white. It was hard to get a good pic. It’s a tad pink around it but not red, was red when it started. It only hurts if I mess with it. I’m scared this is cancer. Can canker sores last this long? It was a tad bigger and higher up but being there awhile now I’m worried

It looks like a boney spur, nothing to worry about. It'll get sore when you rub the gum over the top of it too much by chewing food against it.
