Going to start with one of my "issues" ....
Previously, when I've had a procedure and had a LA it effects me so much!
I tend to go home and straight to bed to try and sleep through the most of it... But hours later the numbness has spread across my whole face, over to the back of my head and the back of my neck.
Family members have said that it wears off within an hour, I can literally have my whole head numb five hours later.
I hate it
To the point where I have had many fillings done without it, dentists keep stopping the drilling and asking if I'm sure I'm ok, with me just replying to hurry up and get on with it. Ten minutes of severe pain is preferable to the rest of the day of discomfort!
Is this normal? Is there anything I can try as an alternative (IF I ever get back in the chair,!!)
