Long way to go

I’ve posted before, but I thought I’d start a journal so I can log what’s happening at each appointment and celebrate at the end!
So my first post, I saw a horrible dentist who told me lots of teeth needed removing and was very rude about the state of my mouth (though it is horrendous, I didn’t want to hear about it!). I finally plucked up the courage to go again with another dentist in March/April time this year.
I’ve had 2 hygienist appointments for deep cleanings which went well.
I went again today to redo my xrays and get a plan together. I’ll have;
All 3 wisdom teeth out
At least 2 root canals
Fillings on most teeth (temporary, to stabilise the situation).
Eventually crowns on some of those temporary filling teeth.
They’re going to try to save my molars, which the last dentist wouldn’t consider so I’m extremely happy they’ll try, even if they do need to come out in the end I’m going into it hopeful.
My next appointment is 2nd of June for a bottom wisdom tooth removal and filling on second molar and second pre molar.

What a courageous brave thing to give it another try after the first dentist was so horrible! so glad to read that things have been going well so far. Keep us posted and good luck for June 2nd
