My son had his first dental cleaning at our new dentist. He had a new patient exam in October with the dentist. The hygienist today said that he has very low frenum attachments on both sides on the top (not in front), and that we probably need to have those lasered down to prevent gum recession when he is older. The dentist didn’t mention it at his exam.
How much of an issue is this? The hygienist said it didn’t need to be done anytime soon (my son is 11), but that we could discuss it at his next appointment in June, with the dentist.
