Lower front tooth extraction then splint

Has anyone ever had a lower tooth extracted and then the doctor using that tooth in the place of the extraction site holding it in with a splint?

No I am going next week. Dentist wanted to do bone graft also but I don’t have money for that so just getting tooth extracted then he will file down root and place that back and splint to my other teeth. He said others may get loose over time due to bone loss.

@Tracey oh okay . Can they not do a partial denture ? I have one honestly better than having teeth. Am actually going to ask for the rest of mine to be taken out can’t keep going through all the stress . That’s why I was wondering if you had it taken out yet so I know what it’s like as I was put asleep last time but I don’t think they will for
This one tooth that’s really bad .

Yeah no it is ready to come out so it should be easy taking it. I guess he is using h one tooth to try to keep them the same. I am sure once others get loose I will probably need a partial denture or bridge
