my teeth and gums are in an awful state but just too scared after terrifying experiences at the dentist to go, my lower front tooth is loose and wonder what can be done if it comes out

If you want not to extract the tooth and not to wait until is falls, you can ask a dentist to make you a periodontal splint (you can google it). It is very easy to make, no need for drill nor to anesthesia, very cheap and effective for many years.
